Sotheby's International Realty: Record results in the third quarter of 2022

More than 900 million euros: this is the total number of sales made by Sotheby's International France-Monaco between January and August 2022. The house recorded a record third quarter -something never seen before- with more than 520 million volumes of sales. These results are the best ever obtained by the agency, all periods combined. And with 300 million euros in transactions planned for the fourth quarter of this year and the first two quarters which have performed, the luxury real estate house should beat its record which amounts to 1.456 billion euros. And this despite economic events, from the war in Ukraine to rising rates and inflation.

Sales records are broken in all regions, particularly in Paris with many sales that exceed 40 million euros, but also on the Côte d'Azur where many sales above 10 million euros have been carried out.

“This reality seems to indicate that real estate remains a safe haven, especially in times of crisis. This allows us to envisage a good end to the year with a fourth quarter in the same vein,” explains Alexander Kraft, Chairman and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty France-Monaco. But this reality also and above all makes it possible to reinforce Sotheby's International Realty in its role as leader in the luxury real estate market in Paris, in the provinces, and internationally.
