What role does school district play in the purchase of a property in Paris?

It is one of the main criteria for buyers. The most renowned private schools, middle schools and high schools being concentrated in the west of Paris, young couples end up heading to this sector in order to offer the best chances of success to their children. But with the general rise in real estate prices, they often have to review their search criteria and fall back on more standard properties. The premium for properties near prestigious establishments is not very marked, but there is great fluidity in resale.

Another difficulty is that of entering these schools. Indeed, the waiting lists are long and enrollment is planned from the beginning of the previous school year. Parents must also prepare for a passing exam. “College Pasteur, private schools Sainte-Croix, Sainte-Marie, Saint-Dominique...
