Also, the figures that have emerged since this second confinement are rather positive for the luxury real estate agency, both by an increase in their field of action, but also by the growing desire to move to the buyers' homes.

Motivations that facilitate transactions

The desire for more space and the financial capacity of Sotheby's customers makes transactions easier. Indeed, the latter is not worried about the economic situation and is not suffering from rising unemployment.

Buyers are looking for an additional space in their main residence, whether it is an office or a balcony. But they are also looking for space in a second home where confinement or telecommuting would be more pleasant. Thus, vast properties with large gardens are bought in Normandy but also in the Paris region in greener areas such as Vaucresson or Garches. The advantage of second homes is that they allow to secure a capital and have a place of refuge.
