In Paris, a mysterious mansion is sold for 52,000€/sqm
At the end of 2018 a record was set in the French capital when a private mansion was sold by Sotheby's International Realty France – Monaco for no less than 52,000€/sqm. Located on the Left Bank between the Seine and the Invalides in the 7th district, this truly exceptional property offers about 400 sqmof sumptuous living space.

During 2018 the market leader recorded other exceptional sales with an average sales price of 2.52 million euro and ten or so sales at over 10 million euro. As Alexander Kraft, CEO of Sotheby's International Realty France - Monaco commented, "Paris was undeniably the most active market in France… and particularly at the top end of the market, that is to say for transactions at prices between 10 and 50 million euro. In this price range we witnessed stupendous activity, the strongest in over 20 years.”

Luxury realty is booming in Paris, and 2018 was remarkable with transactions sometimes agreed within just a few hours.
The beginning of 2019 also witnessed some great sales for prestigious apartments, leading to believe that another record year may well be on the cards!
