Sotheby’s dedicated an auction sale to fashion and haute couture with a sumptous evening the 5th July. 160 pieces, jewels and accessories, representing a large selection from 1930s to 2000s was presented to collectors and amateurs. A legendary dress of Paco Rabanne, the “saharienne” of Yves Saint Laurent, a coat created by Hubert de Givenchy but also a plastron created by John Galliano in 1998 for Christian Dior were the most expected pieces.
