The Garden of West Paris
The ultra-residential environment surrounding Bois de Boulogne enjoys the same bucolic atmosphere as la Campagne à Paris. Luxury apartments with terrace on the same level, garden level apartments, houses or freestone private mansions, they all found a buyer with the Covid crisis, “without any discount, despite prices 15 to 20 % more expensive than 1 year ago” Frank Sylvaire, CEO of Paris Ouest and Paris Marais Sotheby’s International Realty explains.

Why West Paris? Families who settle in this part of Ile-de-France want both to enjoy Bois de Boulogne greenery and the freeway exit leading to Normandy. Furthermore, there are excellent public and private schools in this area.

But buyers are very demanding, whether their budget is between 1.5 and 3 million euros or superior to 4 million. Among their search criteria, they look for nice volumes, double orientation, absence of noise pollution or traffic… Auteuil in the 16th arrondissement, Saint-James and Sablons in Neuilly-sur-Seine are the favorite areas for young couples and families, but also for artists, football players, captains of industries and high tech young fortunes who are ready to pay until 18 000 euros per square meters.
