Luxury real estate in France continues to gain momentum, and not only in Paris
As this AFP article published on January 23rd 2020 confirms, the luxury real estate market in France has been booming for several years and remains very dynamic.

2019 was a great year in the capital for specialists in luxury real estate such as Paris Ouest Sotheby’s International Realty, with properties valued at over a million euro still finding buyers.

The luxury real estate market is turning over more and more money year on year, and an increasingly significant wealthy cosmopolitan clientele is in the market for exceptional properties in the French capital. Emmanuel Macron's policies combined with Brexit issues have boosted the real estate market. However, as Alexander Kraft, CEO of Sotheby's International Realty France-Monaco, points out, the increase in activity which could have been even more significant was hampered by the "yellow vest" demonstrations and strikes protesting against pension reforms: "Without these two factors, undoubtably results would have been even better".
