Paintings and Drawings 1400–1900 including works from an important private Symbolist collection

Sotheby’s Paris is proud to present this sale of Paintings and Drawings 1400-1900, including an important French private collection of Symbolist artists, such as Georges de Feure. The sale will start with a significant rediscovery of a triptych by Taddeo di Bartolo; it will then include a group of Primitive artists, followed by a collection of paintings from the Grand Siècle and 18th-century Italian views. Highlights from the 19th century will feature a major landscape by Corot and drawings by Delacroix. The sale will continue with an interesting group of 20th-century figurative artists from all over Europe.
